Welcome to Blackburn and Seafield Church website. We form a traditional Church of Scotland Parish Church. Ours is a warm and friendly congregation. Our sanctuary was built in 1908 by donations mostly from mining families. It is a people's Church.

Coronavirus Update

 

Cancellations of Worship Services

 

Following guidelines from Church of Scotland ALL services of worship, including Holy Week and Easter and all other church activities for the foreseeable future are cancelled.

If you would like a quiet time of reflection in the church please contact myself or Keith for access.

 

The Tally Lamp is also suspended but communication and some possible Spiritual Reflection will be available via our Website or Facebook page in the coming days.

 

If you are facing any difficulties or are housebound and need someone to collect shopping, prescriptions etc, please contact your Elder, Session Clerk or Minister, details below, and we can arrange to help you with this.

We hold public services of worship on Sundays at 11:00am. On the 1st Sundays of February, June and November and on Easter Sunday we celebrate Holy Communion. We hold extra services in the weeks before Christmas and Easter.
